Environment-friendly approach

For this 13th edition of the conference, the organising committee also wishes to include in its action plan the environmental and social issues related to its implementation. The Organising Committee is keen to highlight local or even ultra-local culture, heritage, resources and know-how, while focusing on actions to raise awareness of the issue of reducing waste and CO2 emissions generated by the conference. These concerns will be reflected in the organisation of the event through the choice of service providers and conference partners. This includes the organisation of coffee breaks, lunches and the gala dinner (using local and eco-responsible caterers), social activities (guided tours of local heritage), the choice of useful and eco-designed goodies, and the communication strategy, for example by recommending preferred modes of transport.

As we are committed to reducing the waste and CO2 emissions generated by the conference, please remember to bring your water bottle throughout the event, and even your best mug for the coffee breaks. We also encourage you to use the train or car pooling, as well as public transport or soft mobility in order to get to the Belval site.

*** Trains (except 1st class), buses and trams are completely free in Luxembourg. So you don't need to buy a ticket to get on ***
